You feel a great deal and say very little of it. Gentle, unhurried, and far more affected by things than you let on, you shape the people close to you by consistent small kindness rather than by anything anyone would call an intervention.
The cost: You absorb rather than address. Resentment goes in and does not come out, and the people who hurt you are often genuinely unaware that anything happened at all.
The Quiet Tide, as a person
You feel it all and mention almost none of it. When somebody is unkind you go quiet rather than sharp, and you carry the moment around for a fortnight while they have forgotten it by lunch. You are exceptionally good at the small things — the text on the right day, the thing they mentioned once that you remembered.
