What is The Anvil?
You are where things get shaped. Unhurried, unsentimental, and impossible to rattle, you take the pressure that would break other people and simply absorb it. You do not need the situation explained twice and you do not need it softened.
The cost: People bring you problems and not much else. Being the one who never needs anything is a role you accepted early, and it has quietly cost you the kind of closeness that requires being seen struggling.
The Anvil, as a person
You are difficult to read and easy to rely on, and you have noticed people find that combination unsettling. In a meeting you say roughly a tenth of what you are thinking, and the tenth is the part that changes the decision. You have never understood the appeal of talking a problem through; you would rather go away, solve it, and come back. Your close relationships tend to be very long and very few, and the people in them learned early that your presence is the affection.

When something has to be decided by a person who will not be swayed by how loudly anyone is arguing. You take the unpopular call, absorb the reaction, and do not need it relitigated.

What helps: To be asked how you are by someone who will not accept the deflection, before it is a problem rather than after.
How common is The Anvil?
No population figures are published yet. Rarity is computed from a weekly aggregate release, and the first one appears once enough people have taken the assessment for a cell to clear the minimum publication size of 25.

What five letters can and cannot tell you
Less than the five scores underneath them, and far more memorably — that is the trade this page is making, deliberately.
A code compresses five continuous measurements into five letters, and throws away everything in between by design. Trait scores have no natural boundaries, so this names a neighbourhood rather than a species: two people sharing a code can differ a great deal, and somebody one letter away may be more like you than somebody who matches all five. Where your own score sits close to the middle we say so — that letter comes back lowercase rather than being decided by a coin flip you never see.
