It is the clearest "crowd or no crowd" facet, and it separates cleanly from warmth.

High scorers seek company and find it energising. Low scorers prefer smaller groups or solitude, and find crowds depleting.

A crowd of strangers and a room of close friends are plainly different experiences, and standard items rarely say which they mean.

Four public-domain statements, answered on a five-point scale. Items marked − are reverse keyed: agreeing with them counts against the trait, which is what stops agreeing with everything from producing a high score.
