Warmth is separable from wanting company — you can like people individually and still not want a room of them.

High scorers connect easily and make others comfortable. Low scorers are more reserved, which is not the same as cold.

This is one of the facets most likely to depend on who the other person is, which is precisely what a single score cannot show.

Four public-domain statements, answered on a five-point scale. Items marked − are reverse keyed: agreeing with them counts against the trait, which is what stops agreeing with everything from producing a high score.
