High scorers enjoy theory and debate. Low scorers prefer the concrete and the applicable.

This is emphatically not an intelligence measure. It asks what you enjoy, not what you can do.

Four public-domain statements, answered on a five-point scale. Items marked − are reverse keyed: agreeing with them counts against the trait, which is what stops agreeing with everything from producing a high score.
